Mexia’s Parkview Regional Hospital held a reception for four of its newest health care providers Tuesday to introduce them to Mexia-area residents.
Called “Meet the New Faces of the Health Care Community,” the event took place Nov. 28 in the hospital’s classroom in the early evening.
Those recognized at the reception included Dr. Anthony Cubb, Dr. Don Jackson and Nurse Practitioner Steve Rossiaky; and Dr. Timothy Allen, who was unable to attend.
The event was come-and-go, with people dropping in and leaving at their convenience but staying long enough to introduce themselves and meet the new health care providers, several of whom have local ties.
“We’re really exited that we had an opportunity to bring some local physicians and nurse practitioners here to Parkview and serve the people in the community,” said Parkview CEO Bob Honeycutt, “not only here in Mexia, but in Teague, Buffalo, Fairfield and some other areas that we feel are part of our encatchment areas.”
