Union Pacific lays new rail through Mexia

Union Pacific Railroad brought 90 laborers and 20 pieces of construction equipment to Mexia this week to lay new rails and ties through the city, according to a member of the construction crew.

The Limestone County Historical Commission held its regular meeting at 6 p. m. April 2 in Groesbeck at the Limestone County Courtroom.

County Judge Richard Duncan declared Limestone County a disaster area, Wednesday, May 15.
