Dear Heloise: My husband and I adopted Ginger (“Gigi”) from the Washington Animal Rescue League 11 years ago. She’s a longhaired Chihuahua mix, about 13 years old now. She’s brilliant, energetic, cuddly, well-behaved and friendly with other dogs and people.

Paul speaks of the “peace that passes all understanding” that results when we learn to lay all of our troubles and worries upon the Savior, something that we all have a hard time doing, right? But the results are so true when we do.
