The City of Mexia’s recent cleanup project was a success, and a similar event may be held in the spring to continue eliminating unsightly and illegal trash from business and residential properties, according to City Manager Joshua Barron.
Gunfire erupted Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, at the Valero gas station at the intersection of Milam and Bailey Streets in Mexia.
About 31 percent of Limestone County’s 14,441 registered voters turned out at the polls for early voting during the first week in the Nov. 5 General Election.
Rumors are swirling now about election irregularities, but they are unfounded, according to Limestone County Election Administrator Jennifer Southard.
