Incommons Bank is Biz of the Month
The Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce named Incommons Bank the Business of the Month for February.

This week at Mexia LTC, we started the week off with Bible Study with Irma Carranza. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed their Bible Group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents had their Residents’ Council Meeting that afternoon. Residents will have their exercise group on Wednesday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will play bean bag toss on Thursday morning and celebrate our February birthdays with a birthday party on Thursday afternoon. The sweet Wings of Joy ladies will provide beautiful singing for our party. Residents will enjoy manicures on Friday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will have worship services on Sunday morning and enjoy Church services online or on TV on Sunday evening.
CASA cuts ribbon, welcomes exec director
Ashley Gomez was recognized as the Executive Director of CASA of Freestone and Limestone Counties at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 14 at the Navarro College campus in Mexia The nonprofit organization recruits, trains and supports community volunteers, called Court Appointed Special Advocates to advocate for children in the foster care system and their families.
