Swift rise: Blackcat QB jolts the offense into overdrive
I finally met God in person this past Sunday. In the Bellbrook, Ohio, Presbyterian Church. In the Flesh. Eye to eye. Face to Face. God is beautiful. Handsome. Young. Old. Less handsome. Male. Female. Strong. Worn out. Hopeful. Weakened. Love. Attentive. Silent. Verbal. Tall. Short. In tune. Harmonious. Off key. Chinese. American. Black. White. A kid. An adult. God hinted to me 58 years ago that He was up to something good. He hinted to me through The Rev. Organ, his wife, the steeple that reached high into the sky majestically, the well-kept lawn and trimmed to perfection hedges, the perfectly laid bricks and stone in the red brick building built in 1890, and the calming order it brought daily into my young life. I have wondered for 58 years from the outside what God looked like as I knew He lived inside that building. My Bellbrook High School English teacher Sharon Berryhill invited me last Saturday night at the 1972 Bellbrook High 50th Reunion Dinner to worship with her and her husband Coach Berryhill Sunday morning at their Presbyterian Church.
