Iva Laressa McMinn-Archibald, 79, of Mexia, went home to her heavenly Father on June 12, 2020. She passed away peacefully at Skilled Care of Mexia. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14, at Temple Baptist Church in Mexia, with Brother Michael Vestal and Jerry Fulton officiating. Interment followed at Lost Prairie Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, June 13, at Corley-Porter Funeral Home.
Kate Freeman Moore, of Ben Wheeler, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 13, 2020, at the age of 94.

A funeral service for Brenda Speights Walker will be held at Downs Funeral Home on Saturday, June 13, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Downs Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Point Enterprise Cemetery in Mexia.
The Angelic Hosts came for Mrs. Clara McIlveen, of Fairfield, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, in Missouri City, Texas, where she was in the loving and tender care of her children.
