John Preston Johnson entered his heavenly home on Feb. 22, 2024, just a couple months prior to his 98th birthday. He was born April 30, 1926, in Kirvin, TX, to George Elmer and Fannie May Furlow Johnson.
Mary Evelyn Beard-Brown, 91, of Mexia, passed away Feb. 20, 2024, at Integrity Care Living in Mexia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Wayne Grabbs and Jan Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 10 a.m.
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jerry Archer, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He passed away peacefully on Feb. 17, 2024, surrounded by his wife and children at the age of 81. His departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Cynthia Rene Eubank, 65, of Mexia, passed away Feb. 13, 2024, at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco.
