Emilie Anne Jones entered her heavenly home on Jan. 3, 2022, at the age of 85. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at First Baptist Church of Wortham. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at First Baptist Church of Wortham with the Rev. Justin Colquette officiating. Interment will follow in the Wortham Cemetery.
Julie Laine Johnson, formerly of Midland, passed away on Dec. 27, 2021, in Mexia at the age of 60. Graveside services were conducted at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Midland.
Donald Wade “Don” McBay passed away on Jan. 1, 2022, in Fairfield at the age of 78. Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, in the LaSalle Cemetery (788 FM 1953) with Kyle Roberts, Tommy Roberts and Karl Kimsey officiating.
Ray Morgan Fessler was born on Feb. 2, 1945, in Mexia, to Raymond C. Fessler and Mildred Morgan Fessler. He died Dec. 21, 2021, in Tyler, after suffering a massive stroke.
Gregory DeWayne Johnson was born Nov. 8, 1974, to Gwendolyn Annette Johnson-Solomon and Clifford Lucas in Teague. Greg was the oldest of six children and was primarily raised by his grandmother, Mrs. Freddie White.
