New doctor of orthopedics, sports medicine now available at Parkview

Parkview Regional Hospital now has a full time doctor of orthopedics and sports medicine: Dr. Mitchell Myers. He does general orthopedics, such as hip and knee replacement, some shoulder replacements, scope work with knees and shoulders, repairs to rotator cuffs and miniscus tears, and most fracture care.

Bi-Stone area has several ways to honor our veterans

It is an opportunity to recognize all who served in the United States Armed Forces, said Commander Roger Brooke, of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5872 in Fairfield. “It’s to honor the veterans who have served,” Brooke said. “It’s different from Memorial Day because that’s for the ones who have already sacrificed all. This is to honor all branches.”
