Some people look forward to filing their tax returns, while others recoil at the thought of paying what they owe. Regardless of which camp taxpayers are in, come April most people have a question or two related to their returns.
The third annual fishing tournament in memory of fallen Trooper Chad Walker is set to take place Saturday, April 26, at Lake Limestone. Organized by Chad’s widow, Tobie, the event continues to grow as a key fundraiser for Groesbeck High School seniors, providing scholarships to support their education and future careers.
This week at Mexia Long Term Care we started our week playing horseshoes on Monday morning. Residents enjoyed playing bingo and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with delicious green refreshments and prizes on Monday afternoon.
