CHARLES CLIFTON “CLIFF” BELDIN

Charles Clifton “Cliff” Beldin, 64, died April 24,2025.

He was born in Beaumont on Aug. 6, 1960, to Jody and Glynda. He grew up as the oldest of his siblings in Dallas. He spent his early childhood exploring the creek near home with his best friends. At the age of 16, Cliff began his career in construction, a profession that would become a defining part of his life. He took great pride in his work, often sharing stories of the projects he helped bring to life, whether it was a towering skyscraper, a set of produce shelves, a church roof, a cozy cabin, or, most cherished of all, the house he built by hand in Wortham. Cliff was never known to stay in one place for long. He loved traveling, embracing each new destination and the people he met along the way. His adventurous spirit and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

He is survived by mother Glynda Tabraham and husband Herb, sisters Jeanette Beldin, Cheri Beldin, Kimberly Logsdon, stepsister Raynette Swanson, brothers Donald Wims and wife Alaura, Danny Wims and wife Kristy, step-brother James Ray, daughter Chelsea Chambless and husband Wilson, son Austin Reyes, sonin- law Lou Howk and wife Alyssa. Grandchildren Sterling, Oliver, Addyson, Gunnar, Riley, Austin, Suttyn and Evylie. A whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by father Jody Beldin and daughter Sydney Howk.”
