Peggy Eutzy

Peggy Eutzy, 78, of Mexia, passed away on Jan. 12, 2019, at her residence. At her request, there will be no public service.

Peggy was born on April 6, 1940, in Susquehanna, Penn., to Frank and Minerva Eutzy. She graduated from Susquehanna Township High School in 1958, and had been in the Mexia community since 1969. She was formerly direct care staff with the Mexia State Supported Living Center.

Ms. Eutzy was preceded in death by her parents; brother Frank “Dick” Eutzy; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Carol Eutzy; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Dale and Betty Searer and Dick and Ida “Sis” Stout.

She is survived by her sons, Michael “Scotty” Eutzy, Robert “Bobby” Figard and wife Shelly Wilder, of Mexia, and Frank “Tony” Figard and wife, Carlos Carter, of Mexia; daughter Michelle Renee Figard and husband Rocky Wadlington, of Tacoma, Wash., and best friend Geneva Hamill; grandchildren Alidah Figard, Luke Figard, Taylin Dixon, Lilly Figard, Austin Dixon and Dylan Eutzy.
