Johnny Robinson Jr. passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022. Visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Judah Worship Center in Temple.

rowell Calvin Dwain Prowell passed away Nov.5, 2022, in Mexia, at the age of 92. Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Nov. 8, at the Northcrest Church of Christ. Visitation with the family was prior to the service beginning at noon. Interment followed in the Mexia Cemetery. Don Corbitt, John Turpin, Charles Sims, Mike Clements, Rick Sadler and Bobby Bailey served as pallbearers.

Barbara Jean Sewell, of Itasca, entered her heavenly home Nov. 4, 2022, at the age of 89. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, at Woodbury Baptist Church in Woodbury, with the Rev. Truitt Cockrell and Wade Yarbro officiating. Interment will follow in the “New” Woodbury Cemetery. Barbara was born March 14, 1933, in Salado, to Houston and Lucye Pamela (Quesenberry) Berry. She grew up and attended Salado schools, graduating from Salado High School where she played basketball and was honored with the State Golden Girl Award. Barbara received her Bachelor of Art in Music from Mary Hardin Baylor. She retired after 26 years of service in the Itasca ISD, where she served as a music teacher, band director and an elementary school teacher.
