Will you be ready when your timepiece runs out?

Clocks and timepieces. We all have them and we all have to pay attention to them, whether we are retired, at home, or we are still working. We cannot escape their menacing hold over us. Now as a retired person, I don’t have to punch anyone’s time clock nor am I bound to be anywhere at any particular set of hours. I am my own time clock. If I have a set time that I would like to get something done, I can put myself under that time clock, but if I am beset by distractions, you know, those “little foxes” that nip away at our goals, then, oh well, I can tackle my task at another time. So, I’m not too bothered by not getting something done when I first set to get it done. Of course, sometimes I cause my own set of distractions, like when it’s time to mow my yard and I don’t want to mow my yard, I can always find something more pressing, something “more important” to do. Know what I mean?
