Mexia Public School Museum and Alumni Association will present awards to the Class of 1973 distinguished alumni and Coming Home Queen before the Friday, Sept. 26, homecoming football game, All alumni need to be at the football game about 6:30 p.m. to ensure they can find a place on the field for the awards ceremony.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week having Bible study with Irma Carranza on Monday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents played bean bag toss on Tuesday afternoon.
Those who love railroads and history, especially the history of Limestone, Freestone and Navarro counties, will want to mark their calendars for the 2023 Tri-County Railroad Symposium, coming Saturday, Oct. 21, to the Teague Hotel.
