Johnnie King Harman, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 4, 2020. She was born on May 21, 1923, in Wortham, to Lillian Carter Rogers and Jack Rogers.

Madie Sue Watson, 83, of Mexia, passed away on Sept. 24, 2020, at her residence in Mexia. Graveside services were to be held on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m.

Mary Frances Allen, 90, of Mexia, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2020, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wright Jr. and the Rev. Michael Vestal officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. It is asked that you please wear a mask to the visitation and the funeral.
